David Wilks, Founder/Owner
David is the beginning of Wilks Air Conditioning and Heating. Long before David was a business owner he would help his father repair to help support the family. He fostered his passion through classes at St. Phillips College where he learned air conditioning and heating repair all while still in high school. In May of 1974, David started his business out of his parents’ home. He married his wife, Katy in 1980 and together raised four children. He has taken a one man operation to the quality and reliable business of today. Through his diligence, honesty and integrity, David has set the standard for the strong workmanship that we call “Wilksmanship
Patrick Wilks, President
Patrick grew up carrying his father’s (David) tools and learning to serve customers honestly, with the utmost integrity. In 2005 Patrick graduated from Texas A&M University and came home to help in the family business. While honing his skills in air conditioning repair, Patrick has helped grow the business based on the same values his father instilled in him as a young boy. Patrick married his wife Alicia in 2010 and now manages the day to day activities at Wilks Air Conditioning and Heating. He is dedicated to continuing the tradition through quality service and a strong sense of family. He’s your way to “Worry-Free

Keith Wilks, Vice President
Born and raised in San Antonio, Keith grew up on the Southeast side where he attended Highlands High School. He’s also a proud fightin’ Texas Aggie, class of 2004… Gigem’! Keith is a dedicated husband to his wife, Kellyn, and father to his son, Urban. He grew up understanding the meaning of real work ethic as well as true integrity in the service business. As an AC technician who has been servicing the fine people of San Antonio for more than a decade, Keith believes a comfortable home is key to a happy home and is dedicated to service the right way. Thomas Pawlik, AC Technician.
Born and raised on the Southeast side, Thomas graduated from Highlands High School in 2008. He has been perfecting his craft for 5 years all while being a part time student at UTSA. Thomas is part of the service team and prides himself on building strong relationships with customers and getting the job done with the utmost satisfaction. Fernando Munoz, AC Technician.
Fernando knows installations. He has been in the industry for 5 years and has extensive training and experience. He attended Everest Tech School 2006 to 2007 and he is NATE
certified in heat pump and AC. Fernando believes quality service is vital to this business and strives to accommodate the needs of the customer. He’s been married for 7 years and has 4 children. His quality service is a “Worry-Free
” way to comfort and satisfaction.
Daniel Melton, Service Technician.
Daniel Melton was born and raised in Castroville, Texas. After graduating high school, he attended Texas Tech University before returning to San Antonio. Daniel is married and has two, young, spirited children who keep him on his toes.
Daniel’s background in heating and air conditioning give him a sophisticated grasp on even the most challenging aspects of this craft. He has gained numerous certifications over the course of his 6 year career and is driven by the ongoing dedication to learning new technologies and solutions that will continue to advance within this profession in order to provide superior customer service and solutions. His mechanical inclination and astute problem-solving skills allowed him to acquire a service technician position within 6 months upon arrival to the HVAC trade.
Gregg Rankin, Comfort Consultant.
Gregg has lived in San Antonio for 21 years. Originally from Chicago, Gregg is a Bears fan, but has adopted the Spurs as his basketball team. He moved to San Antonio after serving out his military commitment. Gregg has been in the air conditioning and heating industry for over 20 years. His experience and continuing education make him a valuable team member. Gregg was fortunate to marry his wife Kathryn 21 years ago and is blessed with 3 children, Cameron, Grant, and Morgan. When he is not designing comfort systems or performing one of his many fatherly duties, you can catch him at the University Bowl practicing for a bowling tournament or hitting one of the many beautiful San Antonio golf courses.
